မည္သူ႔ကိုမ်ွ မညွင္းဆဲပါႏွင့္

သတၱ၀ါ အားလံုးတို႔သည္ တုတ္ လွံတံကို လန္႔ကုန္၏။ မိမိတို႔၏ အသက္ကို ခ်စ္ျမတ္ႏိုးကုန္၏။ (မိမိသည္လည္း ကိုယ့္အသက္ကို ခ်စ္ျမတ္ႏိုးေသာ သတၱ၀ါ တစ္ဦး ျဖစ္သည့္အတုိင္း) မိမိကိုယ္ကို ပမာထား၍ အျခား သတၱ၀ါတို႔ကို မညွင္းဆဲ၊ မသတ္ျဖတ္ရာ။

All (living beings) are terrified of punishment (danda); to all, life is dear. Making comparison (of others) with oneself, one should neither kill nor cause to kill.
